Alexis Irizarry
Alexis is on the Varsity basketball team. He feels great being on Varsity because this is his first year playing basketball, Alexis thinks that this is a great opportunity for him. He played Point Guard this season, Alexis says that he is doing good and is always trying to get better. He says that the team doesn't have the wins to prove it but were always working hard to get better. Alexis has not had any injuries this year, and he feels that he made coaches proud by striving to get better.
Luis Ramirez
Luis is on the Junior Varsity basketball team. He is happy to be on the team since this is his first year of basketball. Luis says, “It's great to be able to play basketball for the Franklin Vipers.” Luis plays power forward and states that “I’m doing good but i'm trying to get better and try harder.” But he states the team isn’t doing great since they don't have many players. “We get tired really easy and we don't try hard enough.” Luis says that he has made some improvements this year. “At the beginning of the season I was not able to make free throws, but now I can make free throws.” Luis hasn't had any injuries this year.
