Summit Student

8th grade - Alicia O.

Alicia has worked so very hard to master Summit Learning this year. Alicia works in every class, every day to make  sure she is keeping up with our new friend, the blue line. In science, Ms. Norris appreciates how Alicia continuously asks questions of clarification and invests in her learning. In English, Mrs. Turman was very impressed with her poem and performances during the poetry slam. Alicia was chosen for her dedication  of her learning, and her positive attitude when she is working to understand a new idea. Congratulations on being chosen as the 8th grade Summit Student of the month.

6th grade - A B Lopez Alvarado.

This young man is a model student for the Summit Learning platform. He eagerly engages himself with the playlist and records information on a google docs or on a piece of paper as he learns new concepts. By preparing for the content assessment he passes with minimal attempts. A B monitors himself to ignore distractions that could otherwise interfere with his progress. A B is moving through the playlist! In science ' Human Impacts on Earth,' he is planning an extended recycling program foe FMS. Stay tuned for what he may create, next.

7th grade - Hae Than.

Hae Than is a hard working, kind, and collaborative student. Since beginning the use of the Summit Learning Platform, Hae has taken every opportunity to ensure her success. All of her teachers agree that she is a model student and a person that other students not only get along well with but can depend on and trust. The seventh grade team was more than excited to find out they were able to nominate a student for this honor. Being able to then recognize Hae for all of her hard work and accomplishment was amazing. Congratulations Hae, you deserve it!
